THE ULTIMATE street/strip motor FS/GI

OK, so I have 2 built motors now and since the other one is a little less street friendly I suppose I offer up my other motor:

Engine: 9.5:1 Ross Racing pistons, Groden aluminum rods, Buschur Racing lightened and knife edge crank, Steel O-ring, Moroso Racing oil pan, Magnus girdle (uninstalled)

Head: Built/tested/ported by Speed Injected; +1mm over Ferrea SS valves, Crower Springs w/ Titanium retainers, sleeved, L19s, AEM Tru Gears (red), Valve cover with -12an fitting and catch can. Motor has breakin miles.

Head:

Sleeved head and valve train:

Still fresh:

I can sell it as a Short block or a Long block but of course looking to sell it complete.

I'll start off at $3500obo and work from there.

Those look like stock springs and retainers. I'd be very wary of this deal.

How can u dis on someone for making a comment when u didn't build the head yourself? It's not that difficult to just say u have receipts or something don't be a jackass when u know nothing about the person your talking shit about. 3500 seems way to high for just a 4g63 most ppl on here sell built motors with the car for 500 to 1000 more than what your asking.

It wasn't any more a "dis" than what he said. And I have seen entire cars sold with eagle rods etc. Not aluminum rod motors built for 1000whp.

Its of course a starting point as anything is. You don't start where you expect to get top dollar, it is simply an area to begin from. Just gauging interest my friend. Not trying to ruffle any feathers or anything, just seeing if there is any interest. Its currently a back up motor since I am running a half filled block now as well.

Geez, can we all just get along lol.

Who did the work on the motor?

You can't expect people not to be wary of a person who just joined the site (from sacramento) and is selling an expensive part.

I'm not sure why it matters I'm from Sacramento? Head was done by Speed Injected and the motor was built by ASAP in Fl. I'm sure you Evo guys know them and Shane/CWill and those guys who had a hand in the build.

I can post more pics of the motor opened up with the rods and crank etc.

The head seems like it is spoken for but I am most interested in the block being sold.

You should have covered the block deck once you took the head off of it. Look at all that surface rust in the top of the bores!! Ish!!

Plenty for the potential buyer to consider. Locking this thread for now. Buyer-beware; contact the seller for more info/details.
