Compound turbo genesis
http://www.GenCoupe.com/2-0t/35714-t...ld-thread.html
Pretty cool, he supposed to be dynoing in the next couple days, spotted this thread in the compound turbo thread on tuners. |
Re: Compound turbo genesis
Please tell me he's not going to keep that tiny-ass ebay FMIC on there...yeow.

Re: Compound turbo genesis
That was what I was thinking, that thin godspeed intercooler doesnt look like its gonna handle what he's throwing at it.

Re: Compound turbo genesis
The avatar in the second post looks like a cool genesis. (havok motorsports)

Re: Compound turbo genesis
So he's building this huge turbo setup, make sure it works and hoping he makes little enough power he wont blow up the motor/fuel system?
The stock ECU support on that thing sucks, wonder what he'll do. |
Re: Compound turbo genesis
I love reading what parts will do what and handle what, reminds me of NABR about 9 years ago.

Re: Compound turbo genesis
Man, and I thought I had a penchant for pain. Sounds like he's at least partially sponsored.

Re: Compound turbo genesis
That thread really is funny. I wont call them noobs, but its funny to see another group of car enthusiasts going through the same thing that the DSMers went through with trying new setups, bigger turbos and "way out there" concepts, and met with the same resistance of "Your stupid for doing that" people (aka jealous).
Remember when the 35r was considered insane, and crazy for a street driven car, and a 42r, was simply blasphamy. |

Just because it is hard and no one wants to mess up and look stupid is why no one raises the bar. Trivia time, What shop "raises the bar" ohhhhhh SNAP! -Colin |
