no boost building. Please help
I am trying to figure it how when I adjusted the fuel pressure with the vacuum line off it is at 40psi. It then drops to 27 psi, with that setup it built boost but hesitated to 28. with a little knock. So I adjusted it to 40 with the vacuum line on(like it was when it was tuned) but that made the car not build boost at all.
The AFPR is new and from fuel lab. We checked for boost leaks. Among a lot of other things today. I have a log, could anyone try to figure out anything from this log? Thanks, -Colin http://rapidshare.com/files/40370534...28-01.elg.html |

Re: no boost building. Please help
Well a mod list would be a bit of help, I read your post a few times and really don't get what you are talking about, the problems or symptoms you are describing don't have much to do with each other. Fuel pressure and boost are generally not really related.
If you are not building boost at all (from the turbo) either the turbo is shot or you have a humongous boost leak somewhere in the system. Or your don't have an accurate way of measure the boost. But again I think the reason nobody has chimmed in is because you post is very vague. |
Re: no boost building. Please help
You sure you didn't mess up you boost gauge line and FPR line? Most boost gauges are hooked up with a "T" fitting, maybe you are running it with the FPR or disconnected one by accident?
