MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
It's been a long journey, but I believe we've reclaimed the highest horsepower stock ECU record :) We don't expect this to last long as we've got some stiff competition out there, but this was only 37psi and although its cliche, there's a lot left in it ;) We'll be out at BIR this weekend to see what she can do (albeit on stock suspension and street tires for now), yet another reason to attend our Proving Grounds event!

If I try to name all of you I will most certainly leave someone out unintentionally, so I hope that addressing the group as a whole will sufficiently convey our gratitude ;) If ever there is anything we can do to further advance the capabilities of the stock ECU please don't hesitate to let us know! Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Congrats! That thing is laggy, but with traction in mind, it may be a good thing for you. Do whatever you have to to keep in boost between gears and you should run some good times. Good luck.

Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Damn, congrats guys!

Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Great numbers, but whats the deal with the lack of torque?
|
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
It's a big turbo 4cly. Torque is not an option. Plus that is really good torque for the set-up.
|
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Congrats on getting it all figured out and a good turbo on there. That thing should really move out.
Torque is for diesels... It sure isn't needed for a fast drag car and often you don't want it to avoid breaking parts. Speedfreak: That's not laggy. That would be a quick spooling turbo on a Honda. :) |
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Torque looks solid I think...lag it a bit rough, that's a big ass turbo.

Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Power...check. Practicality...not a chance ;)

Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
^hahahaha.
Congrats on getting this figured out. I can't wait to see it on SATURDAY!!! So what times do u need to be competitive on the record holding end of things? |
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Very impressive!
|
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Monstrous!
|
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Woohoo! Congrats guys! Glad this thing got sorted, I CANNOT WAIT to see this thing make some rips down the track!
Def curious to see how tephra's implementation of NLTS works on this thing! |
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Out of curiosity, what is the base fuel pressure and injector duty cycles at with those power levels?
|
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Thats nutty! Cant wait to see times!

Sweet!!

Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
If the base is at 43.5, they might max in the high 900s on E98, unless you run it kinda lean. But with injectors that big, just bumping the base to 50psi or running it at 12.5 versus 12 can be a lot more power range. I was at 76% on E85 with the ID2000s(same injector as the FIC 2150), 50psi base fuel pressure on an Evo I did last year making about 837awhp Dynojet numbers. I told English Racing the base fuel pressure and duty cycle and he guessed the power it made within 10awhp. :)

Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Nice work Kyle and gang, really impressed with the power and lower boost. :D
|
Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
The 37psi is very impressive. That intake manifold or head or cams or all of them are doing something right.

Re: MAPerformance Drag Evo / 916whp 604wtq / Stock ECU
Great power for the boost, good luck at the track.
