2 piston dsm brakes vs the n/a, 3/s, 2 piston brakes
well just like my confusing titles states, im wondering what is better. the dsm 2 piston front calipers, or the stealth/3000gt, 2 piston calipers.

These are the same exact part if I'm not mistaken...unless if you meant to compare the 2 piston DSM calipers to the 4 piston TT.

Exact same part.

Re: 2 piston dsm brakes vs the n/a, 3/s, 2 piston brakes
Not the same exact part. The 3S 2 piston calipers have bigger pistons. It's only 1mm bigger, but bigger.

You're right, they have two different part numbers, I always thought they were exactly the same.

1mm, I doubt in a back to back test on a 1g you would be able to notice a difference. But the bigger piston will help a little. Which one is cheaper, that is what I would go with.

i knew they were different, i just could find anything or anyone that could tell me the actual difference. i tried many searches. compared alot of parts on napa's website ... ect ect.
but if its only 1mm i wont bother switching to the 3/s calipers then. there was a couple sets in my local junkyard so i thought i would ask about them. |
