Didn't Curt have an auto car, or am I thinking of someone else?

Goddamn it's nuts what this turbo can do. Low 9's seem to be on obtainable goal now. Crazy cool!

Well, that means it's capable of a 9.6, subtract a half second for Curt.

His low 9s runs at 159mph from last year's shootout.

Then add in half a second for the tracks around here, and another half second for typical suspension setups, and another half second for typical brake, alignment, tire, wheel bearing setups, weight, and another half second for most people driving ability and you got 11.6. Sounds about right. :)

Does he shift into 5th or just rev the piss out of it in 4th? That thing is moving

I'm sure he stays in fourth, his redline is up there.

Re: 35R powa mutha fuka!!! 9.1@160

None on the fast AWD DSMs have to go into 5th, you just rev it higher. Curt used to say you shouldn't need bigger than 24.5" slicks either, if you can't rev it high enough in 4th to get through the traps with 24.5" slicks, then you need to build a better motor.
