Call a Mitsu dealer, give them your VIN, your car might not have had the xfer case recall done yet. I just had mine done three years ago.

it is for sure leaking from the input. feels like there is alot of play. any way that a new seal would fix it?

Re: 1g transfer case leaking

i have a seal in its packaging part number md723202. no offense to people who go in, but i just dont see the logic in getting a recall done for a bad seal on a 17 year old car. nothing like hurting the economy a little more on something they cant control. at this point in its years anything that breaks or wears out should be on the owner.
