Anybody know of these cars?
 

I'm going to start at least keepin an eye out for an evo since I realize it'll probably take a while to find the right one. Here's a couple I've found on craigslist and I was wondering if either of the owners are on here, or if anybody knows anything about em. Thanks!

One's an 03 gsr and the other is a regular 03 VIII. Is there any difference?

GSR is just a trim level of the Evo VIII.

I know of the guy, he is younger probably 21 or 22. Not to sure how he treated the car, but the few times I have met him he seemed like a stand up guy.

GSR is the base model, then there is the MR and RS. SE and SSL were additional packages for things like sunroofs, different seats, etc.

Post them up on evomn.net and see if anyone there knows about them.

Well he sent me the compression numbers and they were a little low. I also finally got the vin number and ran a carfax only to find out "Salvage title in Illinois from August 2009 then flood damage in November 2009 along with "Broken odometer reported". The guy told me that the car had a clean title, but I guess he was just tryin to play me for a fool. I guess that's why this car was so cheap :(
