wikileaks' pentagon murder video

What our military decides to do with the children makes me sick. |
Re: wikileaks' pentagon murder video
Cameras are easily mistaken for RPG's, that journalist should have known better. <sarcasm>
And I only see one dude with a lowered AK, anyone else see any more guns? The pilot reports multiple RPG's(cameras) and multiple AK's. This is ridiculous, and the cover up by the military is unforgiveable. |
Re: wikileaks' pentagon murder video
I'm not politically active, nor do I ever express how I feel about this stuff. My brother was serving over there during the earlier stages of this war and know how he feels and he's told me things about it. I would rather stay out of this debate but I'll just say,
To all the soldiers who have served over there, Thank you. (I'm not saying this video is right or wrong nor am I approving or disapproving the actions of the soldiers in this video. I have my opinions and just keeping them to myself) |
Re: wikileaks' pentagon murder video
Ugh. Thin line between war and Genocide.

Re: wikileaks' pentagon murder video
Poor judgement surely.
But watching something like that on a video from the comfort of my bed here in Minnesota is quite different then actually being there. So I, unlike some others obviously, don't feel educated or experienced enough in a situation like that to sit here and point fingers. |

Just a little food for thought. I dont want to turn this into a huge political thread again, but sometimes you really need to think about how the other side feels. We have killed so so many innocent people, we will kill more, but are we that decensitized (sp?) about war and violence that the endless killing of Iraqi citizens mean nothing? Tom. |
Re: wikileaks' pentagon murder video
The difference is we are not targeting innocent civilians on purpose unlike who we are fighting.
Plus the fact that the people we are fighting are dressed as civilians and hiding behind civilians in schools and hospitals doesn't help. It is sad to see this happen but if you listen to the audio transmissions it sounded as the helis were there to clear the way for the armored calvalrey. If it was me up there and I thought I saw enemeys preparing an ambush I would rather kill them then take a chance with my fellow soldiers lives. Very sad situation but as said before war is not pretty |

I totally agree with both of you. Late 2006-2007 was the deadliest time of the war for U.S. Troops. The pilots seemed like they were very trigger happy. But, Around that time there were constantly cerfews all around the country, sometimes for days on end, where they couldn't even leave their own property, and were not allowed to drive cars. The video doesn't mention any of this, but also why would it? The video tries to make the military look like all we did was rape and pillage the poor little Iraqi's. It fucking sickens me to no end that ALL the media ever tries to do is tell the public all the bad things that happen and never one good thing about the war in Iraq. Especially the hippies like Joesushi, that talk all the shit in the world about all the bad things the military has done, blah, blah, blah, but is/was too chicken shit to have ever served himself. I myself am a proud veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and have seen these things first hand, and that is why I feel this way. /rant |
