Of all the Lancia's made, this is my favorite.
 

Regardless of the rust issues they had in the late seventies, they came back and one last great car, the Delta HF Integrale.

Obviously the car in the video is heavily modded. But back in the day this thing rocked group B WRC. That is, until they deemed the cars too fast (The Lancia Delta S4 could to 0-60 in ~2.5 seconds) and banished it.

I wish we got company's like Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Seat, and Skoda that only the Europe gets. They have some great cars.

WOW, he's just ripping through those gears like cake. I'm surprised I didn't hear any anti-lag though.

*edit* Read that this car is supercharged and turbocharged. I guess no need for anti-lag.

Yea, pretty much anything from the Group B class is fucking badass as hell.

I think the noises the old 5cyl audi quattros made ripping through the dirt are some of the best in all the auto world.

I saw that episode, then when I picked up the January issue of Top Gear magazine the last page was about the Delta S4. Europe has so many great cars.

I have a 1990 Audi coupe quattro and i love the car its slow but it sounds sweet. I plan on turboing it after my next deployment.

They didn't stop building them because they were too fast. The rules were for group B was that 200 had to be in production for the car to race. So there wasn't very many cars built. RS200 was another example of a TRUE group b rally car that very many weren't built.

Group B shut down because it was too harsh and the drivers suffered mentally from it. Plus too many people being killed. I think the last straw was when a Lancia went up in flames.
