If you go DSL, qwest DSL with IPHouse as the ISP.

http://www.iphouse.com

Not sure who the cable provider is up there.

Comcast cable is pretty good, never any deal breaking outages. I'd stay away from Charter.

+1 Charter is horrid. I had them for cable and internet and the performance of both are disappointing to say the least.

+1 for comcast. My family uses the 3 deal package. Phone, Tv and Internet. So far no complaints :)

I had comcast and qwest. Qwest has been annoying turning our internet off for no reason I call in tell me some bs then magically starts working an hour later. Qwest customer service is also in India, they lack training and keep telling me to turn off my modem and restart it when that is not the problem.

My vote is Comcast actually has good customer service when I had them.

Comcast is alright. Kinda spendy, but all in all no complaints here. I miss Time Warner though. I had them in california, mainly their on demand is what i miss, it was super responsive.

I have the Comcast 12mb internet service, combined with their BASIC cable antenna service. Pay $58/month, and that is after all the cheap 1yr offer stuff. Not too bad. I wish they had a slower service, like a 6mb or something that I could opt for, for cheaper. But they said the next slowest option is 1mb, and I'm not willing to go that slow.

I do like them over Qwest though. I always had issues with Qwest internet dropping out off n on all the time. Also I'm going to be upgrading my cable service, and have heard too many negative things about DirectTV becomming intermittent in bad weather, which is the exact time I would be sitting inside watching TV.

So in our area, I guess I'd recommend Comcast.

FYI, here is a test result for my connection (Blaine, Comcast 12mbps). I have no idea what's good or bad, but someone smarter than me might be able to say.

Wow i forgot about this kinda.

Some more information for folks, I had comcast then went to satellite (direcTV adn qwest)

I hated comcast pricing and I hate satellite going out during storms guess what I'm doing during a storm? trying to watch tv.

But in an effort to save some $$$ I don't have we are going to just internet NO TV as we watch everything online or download it later.

Right now comcast seems to be the best option for this area.
