Turbo Mighty Max
Just yesterday I aquired a 1995 Mighty Max pickup with a 4G64 and a 5 speed. It's in good shape with very little rust. My Grandma has had it for 10 years and due to her age is no longer able to operate the clutch or manual steering. I just bought her a wagon, so the truck is just sitting now.
If I put a 4g63 head on the 4g64 from a 1g does anyone know how complicated the wiring would be? Would it most easy to use the ecu from a 1g or is there a better option? Or would it be easiest to put in a complete 4g63? Ultimate power goal is 400rwhp |
Re: Turbo Mighty Max
400rwhp? go bigger! and you need some rwd intake manifold, coolant stuff, just use the dsm harness and ecu!

Re: Turbo Mighty Max
Okay.... 500rwhp on Shanes dyno is the new goal! I was thinking of using a Magnus intake mani. Where is the best place to start looking for parts to build the bottom end of the 4g64?

Re: Turbo Mighty Max
Doesn't a Mighty Max have a 2.4 wide block?

Re: Turbo Mighty Max
if it is the wideblock, you might want to at the very least swap to a Starion tranny, otherwise Bill Hincher has a couple bellhousings for stronger trannies, one of which is the W series out of supras

Re: Turbo Mighty Max
Based on what I've read, it is a wideblock.
