What up people?
Nate here...came down to hang with my old buddy tony over the weekend...already met a couple of you cats and had a good time. Good people on this forum...good people all around. Sure beats being stuck in a closed gas station in albertville trying to piece together a bent intercooler pipe cause someone decided to drop a mini fridge in the middle of the road...lol...anyways, thought i should introduce myself.

Welcome to the site!
Yeah, like Aaron said, watch those fridges, they'll jump right out at you! ;) |

Re: What up people?
hahaha...i wasn't driving...tony and i were cruising down the road past this place where he used to live...well at least close by...it was already like midnight...we are just chit chatting and we are passing this gas station off in the distance where this smoking hot little cutie used to flirt with us every time we came in...i must have been day dreaming a little...i look forward and like 5 feet in front of us is this fridge chillin...BAMB...what's worse, no beers left inside.
Kind of crazy evening ripping off bumpers and trying to janky rig a pipe together...luckily pat showed up with a box of tools and some randoms showed up...basically because as it turns out, a yellow spyder apparently attracts a ton of attention. Oh yeah, kudo's to the men and women of Albertville's finest who passed by within feet of us on no fewer than 3 occasions without so much as giving us a second look...pretty sure I wouldn't want to leave my car there for 3 minutes with that elite squadron of crack officers paroling...i would have at least stopped to see what was going on...for all they knew we were setting up a chop shop in the middle of this gas station |
Re: What up people?
Absolutely...you are correct...i should have posted pictures right from the beginning. I hadn't snapped off any pictures myself, but these were the pictures the guy sent me before I went and picked the car up. So I can put those up.

Bad: Motor area is just not tidy. Wires everywhere and janky blow off valve. Car was originally a silver color and the shake and spray job done to the engine bay leaves much to be desired...everything else is jammed out pretty well, but the engine bay needs to be cleaned up and I would really like to just hit it with a solid coat of paint or possibly just paint it down with some zero rust for that added protection. The hood and front bumper are in primer. The interior is jank-master 2000 modded...just about every clip in the center console up is broken. The gauges are reverse indiglo done up, but the gas gauge is stuck. I also am desperate to find the correct lower door panels to complete the conversion and I would love to find a good old hoop wing to complete the effect. 6 bolt swap, however nothing was ever wired or dealt with to deal with the check engine light Should probably do a water pump/timing belt NEED 2 225/45/17's Good: Body is pretty clean...even the undercarriage has limited rusting...mostly that spotted effect when it starts up...i think ill climb under there and zero rust that up too. Tranny is good rust free exterior with no hidden damage seats are pretty decent only has 104,000 which is pretty good for a 95 And while i normally am not a big fan of repainting whole cars to different colors...this paint is pretty good spray and the dark charcoal color actually looks pretty slick idk...im sure im missing stuff here...but i am also accepting donations in the form of parts for the duration of my restoration...lol...so feel free to give me a shout! lol |
