Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
Not bad! Looks like you got some nice goodies on there. What kind of power are you planning on making? Looks like a solid car though! Keep us updated!

Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
HAHA i got that intercooler kit, its not as bad as it looks. actually works real good.
|
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
Haha I was gonna say, that's a crazy LICP! The only thing I would suggest is that you ditch the ebay manifold and throw an FP cast mani on there.
|
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
Nope its just the SSAC 1g kit. They did the math on tuners or talk and the extra piping make a hair of a second difference.
|
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
performance wise i plan for keeping it the way it is..should still make enough power. i plan on making it look a little better for right now cuz it looks like total shit. i dont think ill have enough money for my paintjob yet, so i will probably flat black it for now. i am making an appointment at excessive autosports so i can get that licp rerouted so i can put my bumper on there. first things first tough is fix the head gasket so i can actually drive it.

Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
im thinking of replacing the pte 550's for some 650's..since im not on e85 theres no need for larger injectors than 650's

Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
That steering wheel looks sweet. and the extra 4 Ft of IC pipe.

Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
i tried fitting a bumper on there yesterday.no way in hell it fits. ill take a closer pic of it later so you can see what i mean

Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
just sent a payment to swifty for a licp! hopefully should be here soon. also sanded down and painted the car myself, yes rattle canned lol. it looks better than how it did when i first got it tough. but its gonna get a real pro paintjob here once summer hits. i just wanna fix all the things that it needs.paintjob is the last thing on the list.

Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
anybody have a turbo timer their willin to get rid of?
|
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
the previous owner said this car (with a good tune, safcll & aem wideband) should be sittin somewhere around 400 hp..could this be around 400 hp with the part that are in it now?
|
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
Not with those injectors. But with bigger injectors I don't see why not.
|
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
it has stock internals..and i was thinking of upgrading to 650's
|
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
well i pulled the head off yesterday so i can replace the head gasket. also found out that it has arp headstuds. how much torque are you suppose to use to torque down the head on arp's?
|
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
Quote:
Pretty sure it is 85 ft/lbs with ARP moly lube, or 110 ft/lbs with 30W oil Don't quote me on that though |
Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
well were pulling the whole motor so i can change every gasket in the engine. i ordered a cometic gasket kit from MAPerformance yesterday should be here end of next week sometime. were also replacing the tranny since the motor is out make it a little easier. also thanks to swifty i got a used licp that will be going on the car once the motor is completely put back together.

Re: 1990 Eclipse GS-T
