Crazy..

Saw this on another forum. I've only heard people talk about it but never actually do it. Pretty crazy.

interesting that's for sure. I remember seeing this car on gvr4.org. It's definitely pretty clean but it'd be a pain to do the spark plugs.

It's not that bad after you do it a few times. Sure it's no were near as easy as a DSM, but there are other engines that are a PITA to change plugs on (V8's, V10's and V12's in vans, trucks and other sports cars) as well. Thankfully, there are plugs that last 60-100,000 miles quite effectively now.

Probably because its NA not turbo.

Doing the non-turbo 6g72 would be fairly cheap I would think. I would love to do this to my 90 Laser shell. Having a nt v6 5 speed would be pretty reliable and still fun.

probably sound better too...maybe. I like the idea of the non-turbo 6g72 in a na 1g. It'd be fun to do but i wonder how the engine harness looks like.

Look at a 1g 3/s probably. Swap the ecu and wiring harness from any 1g n/a 3/s 5 speed and you should be ok...

I'm just speculating though, so don't take my word for it.

it is not a 3s tt motor (6G72TT) in the car it is a galant v6 tt engine swap (6A13TT) and it is for sale for 5k

the dsm is a narrow block and the 3s and galant vr4 v6 are wide blocks
