2010 Upper Midwest Racing Schedule

Hey everyone,

I've created a basic spreadsheet in Google Docs to keep track of the majority of racing events everyone might be interested in. I'll be keeping this up to date as the year progresses.

Right now it contains the month-by-month schedules of MAC Auto X, SCCS Auto X, RF drag, BIR open track events, RA rally, LOL Rally X, as well as special interest events like MAP Proving grounds, 2010 Shootout, etc...

Check it out at:

You must have been bored at work.

That boredom is greatly appreciated. Saved, will be printed and hung.

Sure, go ahead. Let me know if there is any type of racing events anybody wants added, or if you see a date that needs revision.

For BIR, you put "open driving" for the Performance Driving School dates, you might want to change that to avoid confusion :) Also, BIR Wednesday street legal night drags are the following:
May 5
May 19
June 2
June 23
July 7
July 21
August 4
August 25
September 1
September 8

Other BIR dates:
May 7 - Test & Tune
June 4 - Test & Tune
July 2-4 Show & Go/ SCCA regional Road Race
July 9 - Test & Tune
September 3-5 - Muscle Car Shootout

Yes. He's talked about it at Scheides' and elsewhere a few times.

It went good. It was the first event we've had in this car so we were not completely prepared to attack. That and our wheel speed sensor broke, so not having a TerraTrip for this event style made it impossible to go flat out over crests and blind turns. Regardless the car felt great! Very balanced when sliding, and gobs of TQ on corner exit from the V6. From here we will take the telemetry data acquired during the event and refine our build. Focus on weight reduction will be key. We would like to reach our minimum weight for our engine displacement before substantially increasing engine output. Lots to do; next event for us in 39 days!

No, it usually takes several weeks before RA updates anything... it's really quite ridiculous.

We may supercharge when we have enough co-efficients to move to G5. The thing that does suck is that all forced induction cars must use a 34mm restrictor. Therefore by boosting the tib, you'll essentially spike, but shorten the powerband to a point that's un-usable on a FWD platform with that short gearbox.

actually not quite true. all awd forced induction must use the restrictors. G5 cars are free of the 34 or 32mm restrictors.

Good work last weekend, nice clean finishes. Plus the tiburon was probably one of the best sounding cars out there.

RA updates national rallies in real-time (for the most part) but the regionals do take a while. This is made worse for NT1 due to OTR being the following week - I wouldn't expect to see anything till the end of the month.
