What would you guys recommend, set up some sort of a video camera that can do time lapse shit? Should I just stay up all night and wait in a tree with a baseball bat?

Unfortunately, I am pretty damn poor right now, so I can't afford to go buy a video camera, plus I wouldn't know where to get one with time lapse shit that would be cheap. So I am thinking my only option is to wait for the fuckers to come back.

But if I do catch them, can I get in trouble for beating the piss out of them, b/c they are vandalizing my property, and maybe trying to steal my shit, so I am defending my property, you know?

Also, would I need proof, like video or pictures of them doing it to make the charges stick with the police, even if I did see them do it and caught them red handed?

Let me know if you guys have any recommendations or previous experience with this kind of bullshit.

Call the police and report it. They'll do nothing and probably won't even write up a report. But hey at least it'll help you feel like the money you pay them each month in tax dollars might for once be used for your benifit. IF they write up a report at least it'll be documented. for the next time around.

Report it. When that happened to my car a the winter before last, I didn't report it and the jerks had been cought down the road. If I had reported it, they would have been paying me restitution as well. I didn't find out about them getting cought till like a month after.

I think i am gonna have to get that motion detector set up, then when it goes off, make sure it is them, call the cops, and then go outside and tackle the fucker and wait till the cops show up, or if he gets away, i will get the plates.

And you might as well beat the shit out of him while you are waiting for the cops to come, just say he fell :lol: That really sucks though, i hope you find those little bastards.

there had been a string of break in in my neighborhood awhile back... i have a hill on the side of my house i waited with a bb gun and when they had showed up about 3 days later i capped one of them in the ass and that was the end of the break in in my neighborhood...

actually next time they come buy with egg's just have the "Potatoe Gun" ready for em....

Here's a good one I think it was Nash and Swanny were working on Andy's 2G working on his clutch when 6 guys with sledge hammers and shovels jumped out a blue minivan and started smashing the gigantic Snow man Jenny and I made. Well the damn thing was almost all ice so it took them quite some times to even start to damage the thing.

We'll I'd gone into the house to take a shower while Andy and Josh finished up the car. I was in a towel when I started to hear the noise. So I went to the upstairs window to see what was going on. And when I saw what was going on I ran down the stairs opened the door and flicked on the lights. They all went running.

Jumped into there minivan and sped off. Almost loosing control and running into one of those big ass "Green Power Box's"

As I walked in side I realized I was still in my towel. Needless to say that was the last time I've had problems at the house.

It records only when there is motion. You just set up a vcr. You can also watch it on your tv in the house. I use mine in the garage. You might go through more tape being outside.

BB or paintball gun, and make sure you peg more than one of the idiots (but try to stay away from their heads). Also, shoot the hell out of their car as they are driving away. That'll make a nice "fuck with me again assholes" impression :)

Next friday or saturday, if you wanna come over and stay up all night instead of going to uni I am gonna be waiting with my camera, and I am just gonna jump 'em when the come around. Probably best with no weapons, but I figure we can just beat their asses, Nonamesteaks is in on it too, so 3 of us could ruin some shit.

I found a camera on harborfreight.com that has nightvision and hooks up to a regular vcr, so I can record for the important part of the night, like midnight to 6 am is when they do it. Best of all, the camera is only like $30 with everything I need to hook it up.

Also, I have a nice BB rifle with a scope and everything, so it would scare the shit outta someone, plus it would sting like a bitch with a lead pellet going into their ass.

If you are going to shoot the bastards, i would suggest using one of my friends airsoft snipers. 1500 FPS. sheds blood within 150-200 feet. Quite accurate.

How do you know it was planed or just completely random? Unless you have enimes your just wasting your time. But Raptor is right, report anything, if someone is caught doing the same thing, they have to pay restitution.

A camera set up/motion activated lights are good investment though. Along with a tool crib and extra locks/reinforced back door. A power shut off for the garage door so someone can't grab the code.

well, I dunno about you but I don't think my car got "randomly" fucked with 3 times in 2 weeks.

My car has been paintballed once in the last 3 years before all of this started, but that time, every house on the street got paintballed so I am chalking that one up to stupid kids shooting everything they saw.

Besides, there is a kid at school who thinks I egged his house even though I was gone on spring break and I was in florida.
