2g with corbeaus
 

I want to finally install my Corbeau seats in the Talon, but I've never been in a 2g with Corbeau's, and I'm afraid I'm going to hit my head on the ceiling like I did with the summit seats. Anybody local have a 2g with Corbeau seats (either A4 or CR1) I can come sit in and take a ride?

On a serious note, you will be fine!
I had CR1's in my old 3G they fit perfectly. In fact they were a lot lower than the stock seats. I don't think you have anything to worry about, unless ur fat. Tubby.

I don't think he's worried about not fitting waste wise, 2g's suck for having a low roof. I hit my head on the roof with stock seats, and I couldn't imagine how much it would suck to have an even higher seat with different brackets.

I've got my kirkey mounted super low, and you're more than welcome to come try that out but nobody really wants a Kirkey. haha

Believe it or not the 3G eclipse had a smaller headroom than the 2G. If my CR1's fir I think they will be fine in his. :)

Good to know cujo, thanks. Haha tubby, the CR1s are actually a bit big, I should have purchased A4s. Oh well, still comfy.
Curious, do you have a sunroof in the 2g, or in the 3g? That brings the roof down a bit. And I've heard that the brackets in 2g's dont allow the seat to sit lower than stock.

I had the sunroof on my 3G and also on my 2G. I don't know much about the corbeau brackets on the 2G but on my 3G they were very low. I could only imagine them being just as low on the 2G. Let us know, you should just throw them in and test it out.

Edit: You can see how low the CR1's are on the 3G vs the headroom, there was plenty of room.

I think the passenger side wasn't reclined because my Ex liked to sit straight up. :lol:
