So I think that I might start from scratch and make another one as i don't have full confidence in my current tester mostly because I need a Tbolt clamp instead of a hose clamp.

I'll try and snap a pic later.

Mine looks like this. You can virtually make any size you want. With Those 3 pieces. Home depot for the silicone part and cap. Target for the air inlet. This one was just a little expensive since i couldnt find the little fitting to get actual air through the system. Another downside is no pressure gauge. Mine Held up to 32psi then came flying of with a big kaaddaa BOOM!

That's nearly exactly what mine looks like. I've had to hit the ground a few times from flying boost leak tester parts too. I need to invest a little more money and make a really nice one that will hold up.

Maybe use a small metal cylinder with one of those metal caps with the square nob on top. Tap it and put a nice fitting in. Get a nice silicone coupler and a few t-bolt clamps to throw on the end and I think you'd have a pretty nice set-up.

here is mine. 4in just have a air hose nipple on it with a 90 fitting so it will fit in the evo. (just) I regulate the air compressor to 40-45psi and plug the hose on it. It works great like this for the car

weird, mine holds about 20 then started to slide off, but I don't have a silicone coupler, just one of them home depot couplers I have an extra gauge laying around so I might just tap the tester and put it in for the times I'm not at home like now.

I never thought about using the regulator on the compressor.

I use a small portable compressor when I use a boost leak tester. I empty it, then turn it on until it's around 40psi, then just switch it off. After that, plug in the boost leak tester, similar to marks, and watch the gauge on the tank. If it starts falling, have a leak somewhere, stays flat, I'm golden. Plus there's no noise, so I can hear the leaks too.

That would be a great idea. I was thinking about not cheaping out, and actually build one with a pressure gauge. But i was satisfied with the 30PSI.

I think I tossed most of mine in cleaning the garage out. I will need to make a new one. Mine used a PVC street elbow with a cap and a tire valve. I used the elbow so it was easier to get at.

I don't have a pic of mine. But I also have an issue with mine blowing off. I'm going to have to get a t-bolt clamp or it I think.

Mine looks just like Mark's, looks like the same cap too. I can get mine up to mid 20 psi before it starts to slip off.

I put my air nozzle in by first drilling a hole smaller than the fitting, heating the hole I just drilled with a heat gun, then just pushed and twisted it in and luckly since the plastic was pretty gooy after being heated up it all sealed up once it was dry

I just made mine tonight. I gotta drill the hole in the cap and thread it in still.
