Honda driver
Hey all, I got sent over here from MNHondas. I live in Rochester, Minnesota and I drive a 1994 Acura Integra LS Turbo. Don't be confused or start bashing, I'm a huge DSM fan. I came over here to gain some more knowledge on these cars in case I make the switch over from a Honda to a DSM. If you want a pic of my Integra I can post one up, unless you guys don't care haha. So, yea, hi n shiat.

Re: Honda driver
I bought the Teggy how it sits with the intentions of modifying it more myself. I'll get more pics tomorrow but here's one for now..
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...cks428/1-4.jpg Basics of what I know done to it right now(I need to replace the head gasket, will post a project thread when I get started.) T4 Turbo(Not sure on the brand til I take it off) HKS SQV BOV Intercooled(Not sure what Intercooler or size, will let you know) MSD Blaster 2 coil MSD Ignition MSD Cap HKS Wastegate TurboXS Manual Boost Controller No Cat Apexi N1 Exhaust(I'm soon converting to custom dual exhaust with 3" tips, I don't like the big can on the back) Autometer boost/vacuum, tach w/shift light, air/fuel gauges Type R conversion(Besides JDM front end) Black leather interior Mugen short-throw kit Stock LS B18B1 motor/trans 120000 miles There is a 1992 Eagle Talon non-turbo at my friend's towing business, I need to re-install cams and rockers and crap like that but it has a brand new head. He said he would sell it to me for like $700. I thought about it but I just think that's too much for a non-turbo. |
Re: Honda driver
Hmm, thinking of coming over to the dark side? It's a decision that I would weigh heavily if I were you. haha

Re: Honda driver
My buddy had a turbo LS, he was a dsm hater, thought he was the shit with his turbo LS and would race anyone (got his ass handed to him by me numerous times), He got it tuned and was super excited to see what it put down, it put down 186 hp. I laughed so hard for about an hour. Then i got a call that it was stolen from the parking lot of the resturant he was eating at after the dyno tune. They found it a couple days later stripped of its motor and wd40 everywhere to erase prints. Messed up but thats california for you. They said there wasnt even any signs of a break in, he found out that his year honda (to cut costs) only made 4 master keys, so if you have a teg ls of that year (i think it was a 1990), you had a 1 in 4 chance of having the key to someone elses car, have 4 different keys and you can open any one of that year.

Re: Honda driver
I had a 2000 GSR with a turbonetics kit on it. Wasn't fast or anything, but it was sure fun to roll around in! Welcome to the site!

Re: Honda driver
Hondas aren't the only ones.. I used to have a couple of Chevrolet S-Series trucks.. A 1998 S-10, 1998 Blazer, and another 1998 Blazer. My buddy also owned a 1998 S-10.. I owned my S10 and 1 of my Blazers at the same time, and locked my keys in my Blazer.
So I grabbed my s10 key to see if it would unlock the door of the Blazer. I heard about this before and working, but never tried it. Sure shit, opened my door right up. One time my buddy and I were hanging out (Me in Blazer, he in his s10) and I was like.. Check this out.. And I opened his door with my key. He got scared and told me to never jack his shit. His key worked in my door too so I wasn't about to fuck with him either(I had about 500 dollars worth of car audio in my blazer, so yeah) Then I jacked his girlfriend from him, sold my Blazer and then he keyed my Durango because he was pissed. I still had a spare Blazer key, so I unlocked his truck at school, unbolted both of his seats and re-bolted them to the bed of his s10. Shoulda seen how red he got haha. Especially since he didn't have any tools to unbolt them. Had to drive all the way home on his knees lmao |
Re: Honda driver

Re: Honda driver
Welcome!!
I would suggest looking around for a bit until you find the right car (rust free, turbo, AWD, etc.) And you will be much happier in the end. |
