1g blower motor question

So who's had an issue with they're blower motor only working on some of the 4 different intensity's? Mine only works on the highest 2? that typically a switch issue or blower motor?

Probably the resistor pack, it sohuld be near the blower motor as thats what cools it.

Really common on GMs to have the resistor for the fan speed control fail so that it only works on a few or one speeds. I don't know if its seperate or with some component on the 1gs.

Re: 1g blower motor question

The resistor pack is always in the air duct near the blower fan, or a part of the blower fan assembly. It has to be or the resistor pack would burn out very quickly without the air of the blower fan cooling it off.

So look near the blower fan, under the dash on the passenger side dash.
