What size laptops does everybody use for tuning?
^^^^This.
I have been looking at some of the new(ish) dell computers at Sam's Club for like ~$300 for a 10" screen and was wondering if that is really a big enough screen for tuning. I would only be using this for tuning the Talon and WRX, nothing else, so the computer itself doesn't need to be anything spectacular. So, what does everybody use? |

Any one should work. Should be able to scroll if needed. I would just use a cheap/used one.

If you're going to use it just for tuning buy the cheapest one you can find.

Re: What size laptops does everybody use for tuning?
I was using a 12" Dell until it got stolen not too long ago. Now I just picked up a 10" netbook to use around the house, and will be using it for tuning as well. Yes the screen is small but that is fine I can deal with that. What is nice though is the battery life on this sucker is rated at 8.5hrs (in reality probably closer to 6). My laptops before just didn't have that good of battery life, and the cig lighter converters I've had never seem to work all that well.

I've got a 14" I use just for computer programs. $600 extremely well spent. May use it for tuning next year if I can.
