I'd hardly call that "relaxed driving". He's being very careful not to spin the tires, I would imagine after they light up it's pretty hard to get hooked up again.

Ranger is the guy that tends to set the records. He drives very similar to what you see in that video.

He makes it look easy, but that driving takes a lot of skill and practice. I definitely want one of those.
