cute nhia...hahahahaha

Re: My new turbo neon.
That thing would be mega sleeper if it wasn't for the huge exhaust can. Get a bigger turbo and supporting fuel system and start beating some ass. Otherwise, there's a turbo prism on mnsc that prolly wants a piece of that action :P

Re: My new turbo neon.
is that the car that was running megasquirt from mankato?
|
Re: My new turbo neon.
No, I got this car from up north. Yea it's a sleeper, but when you stop at a stop light, you can totally tell that the car is not a sleeper with the stage 3 cams...

Re: My new turbo neon.
cool car, and yay for another 420a :-D

Re: My new turbo neon.
Interesting. Not really hot about the baby fuel injection system but I suppose its probably good for what its got.
It is a sleeper for sure. I bet a 16g and some 750's would make it a wheel spin rocket. Heck, a 14b and some 550's would be sweet. |

That's what I was thinking of. Well Let you guys now more about the plans. |
Re: My new turbo neon.
Nice! That things the hawtness! Definitely agree with the above. Fuel system, bigger turbo, more boost! Do you mind me asking how much you got it for?
I'm in the middle of a full srt4 swap into a '96 coupe myself. I hope to have it running by spring. |
Re: My new turbo neon.
Did you buy this from a guy named Brandon?

Any dyno numbers? |
Re: My new turbo neon.
I'm not exactly sure the specs on the stock SRT turbos, but they are very small haha.
|
Re: My new turbo neon.
That tiny toy turbo has got to be holding it back with stg3 cams and ported head, as are the injectors.
|
Re: My new turbo neon.
Hmm... Seems like a lot of work to put into a Neon...
|
Re: My new turbo neon.
No dyno numbers yet. Hoping for this coming up spring. I'm just going to store it and find a beater. Yea srt-4 turbo are tiny compare to 16g. I think the max boost on it is 15psi. I lower the boost to only 8psi. Plan is to go 50trim with 750cc. But not sure yet. Still searching and reading on stuff about it.
