Hey all. I've been hearing all the talk about mitsustyle for a good while now, but finally joined. i am a dsm'er since the day i could drive. my first car was a 4g63 powered 1992 talon 5 speed. that is now gone and am working on my project. a 1995 Talon TSi AWD with 6 bolt swap. I have the motor, just now need a transmission and im ready to go. its stressful and i feel like im in way over my head, but like my name says, its a love. im excited and hope I stay here for a good while!

Hey man I did/don't know alot about dsm's and with help I got a motor dropped in and got her runningi have a 95 fwd tsi. It just takes some time but good luck and welcome x2 on the pics

not new to dsm's but forsure new to doing this kinda project. i took damn good care of it too. great mechanial order. looked like shit but it always ran....(well most of the time). it never left me stranded anywhere so lets just say that.

When these cars work, you probably wont ever get a bigger smile. When they dont work, you'll want to burn it to the ground and piss on it.

so ive been told. just getting everything together makes me smile. when i got my motors i had such a big grin on my face. it was just a great feeling, i cant imagine how it feels to hear that motor turn over and fire for the first time. im so excited!!!:biggrin:
again i cant express the welcoming ive had as well. none of my friends are into dsm's really....so its cool to finally network/talk to people that are into them as well.

i have been to that garage before ... i was going to buy that car but it had no engine or trans. looked like it would make my head hurt trying to find parts for it.
i was there getting a car going for Hollywood mike he allso drives a blue srt4
was a 91 talon i was working on got it going for him

yeah thats who i got the car from. mike is one of my good buddies. i was gonna buy that red talon haha, but decided that i would rather just do this.
