FS: 2g setup stock 6 bolt long block

I bought this motor from munchgsx on here and has run amazing ever since I picked it up. I bought it from him with around 3k miles and I've put about 8k miles on it.

Motor is sold AS IS, I made power fine on it and did beat on it but my beating on it is usually a lot smarter than most people beating on cars.

Selling it as a drop in and go setup for a 2g now:

1g rods and pistions
1g head
ARP L19 head studs
Fel-Pro Perma Torque MLS Head gasket
DKS2 Cams
2g motor mount modified to fit 6 bolt
Prothane motor mount insert on driver side mount
Correct 2g sensors
Green top CAS
JMF Race Manifold (has seen a nitrous back fire, but it held spikes to 37ish psi no problem and makes more power now than it ever has)
1g throttle body with fiav block off plate
AEM Fuel Rail
1600cc injectors
Recently replaced crank pulley with a life time warrenty. So if it ever splits you can go get a new one ;)

All you'd need is to bolt on your valve cover, exhuast manifold/turbo, and throw it in a 2g.

It pretty much makes 500 at DB all day long on 34lbs of boost and no nitrous.

The only bad thing I can think of is I think it still might have a small oil leak from the oil pan. I recently fix the leak by putting new RTV in place when I was putting in my twin disc. I honestly ran the car up to DB, made pulls, drove it on the trailer, made 3 passes and drove it back on the trailer. It might still have the leak, so I thought I would make everybody aware of it. Other than that small thing its a great motor and loved it.

Asking $2,100 for everything

If you have any questions or want to take a look at the motor just shoot me a pm!

Thanks!

Brad

Thinking about selling this again. If it doesn't sell, I'll keep it and just more slowly build another motor.

Upper 35th? I live off Upper 39th! haha.

You're not looking to sell the FP manifold are you?

^Do you live on the corner house? I thought I saw your car there once but wasn't sure.

Oakdale is apparently where its at. haha

Yeah the house on the corner that had all the siding re-done a couple months ago. My car has sat outside a couple times cause I needed room in the garage. You didn't answer my question though. Do you wanna sell that FP manifold?

I know he didn't say he was selling it. No harm is asking.

Re: FS: Awesome stock 6 bolt long block

Sorry I didn't see that part of your post, I'd really like to keep the FP Manifold unless I ever upgraded my turbo to a non mitsu flanged one.

I don't know what I'd sell the JMF mani for, and wouldn't sell just that unless I had a buyer for the motor that didn't want the intake manifold. I was hoping to try and build a 6 bolt with a 2g head on it, thus this intake manifold wouldn't fit, so someday in the very far future I might part this bad boy out, but probably not very soon.

Good luck with the sale. Might have better luck posting it on one of the national forums if you want to move it faster. I didn't have much interest in a fully build 2.3l long block I was trying to sell for $2,300 on here. Mine didn't come with the SMIM, injectors, rail... but was a fully built motor (top to bottom) with low miles.

Thanks! I'm not too woried if it doesn't sell, it would just be nice to build a motor faster. Half of me doesn't want it to sell either, that way I can go for some record traps on a stock motor.

Good luck on selling it.

But I'd rather see some 140+ traps on a stock block.

Re: FS: Awesome stock 6 bolt long block

Thanks Nick. I would like to keep it and try to go like mid 140s with it. I think it has it in it since I probably took out 100lbs and should make about 100 more awhp than I did when it ran the 140 trap. Only time will tell :)

May I ask what makes the munch stage 1 block so special?

Re: FS: Awesome stock 6 bolt long block

Nothing crazy, but it makes more power than a lot of "built" motors and has been super reliable! It also doesn't push a drop of coolant making 500+ all day long on a great tune. Its nice to have the kind of reliability that I can daily drive this car in the warm weather and not be worried. Different strokes for different strokes I guess.
