Okay so basicly james (ghettostyle) blew out one of his tires. He gave me the tires he blew out plus the other 3 he had so i could put new tires on and balance them etc. The problem is that the sidewall of the tire seems to be glued onto the rim. I took a prybar to it and anything else i could think of. No luck though. Anyone know how to get it off? Ill take some pictures here in a little while.

first of all, are you using a tire mouting machine to do this??
or :goodluck: using like 2 or 3 prybars..... |

It's not glued, just stuck to the wheel. You will need a tire machine to get that off, or a grinder with a cuting wheel, but don't cut into the rim.

yeah no glue used to run into that problem all the time when i worked at the MUFFLER SHOP steel cords in the beed they dont stretch well

If there is something on there that is black it is Bead Sealer and a tire machine will take it off no problem
