Looking for someone whos made the plate for FWD to AWD seal conversion

If you've made the plate that allows the AWD seal to seat properly in a FWD tranny or know someone who has please let me know because I am looking to make or get this plate but I don't have a pic for reference and probably don't have the tools to do it.

After much searching and e-mailing shep apparently all you need is the early 1g fwd seal part # MD707184 which is what the early 90 has. That makes things easier, so anyone with FWD equal length half shafts you can get the above drive axel seal for the drivers side and it should work.

Did you use the awd drive axel seal? According to shep transmission the normal mitsu seal works just fine and does not leak, I hope. Do you have the mopar kit or is it one you made? If it's one you made I will def take a look at it. This seal # MD707184 is the FWD seal for all 1g's 90-94 I believe.

I used a AWD seal. I bought the adaptor from QPR way back in the day. But haven't run equal length axils since my trany sheared off 4th gear and screwed up the axil.

How did that happen? Wasn't because of the mod was it? Let me know why you sheared off 4th gear. I ended up using the stock FWD seal, it's what other people used and does not leak.

I agree, unfortunately.

You rebuild yours yourself? Was this a stock transmission you blew 4th on?

That sounds so insanely fun and stupid at the same time. Makes for a great campfire story though, eh?

Thats High HP FWD's for you. I was was street tuning 110 octaine before a dyno day. and 30 psi and street tires just didn't mix well. I had a good Oh shit moment last week When my car tried to change lanes into oncomeing traffic in 2nd gear. My heart was pounding for a while after that one.
