Strut/Spring Combo

I decided it's time for some new struts, after the stock ones are now approaching almost 105,000 miles. So I was thinking of going with the Koni Yellows and the Eibach Pro kit springs (which it looks like according to the specs, will drop the car 1.2" all around). Does that seem like a good pair? Also, will I need to get a camber kit, or anything else like that?

Can't get any better than Koni adjustable shocks. As for springs, get whatever suits your taste as far as drop and ride quality go. You will need a camber adjustment kit for sure, and get the car aligned after installation.

Pro kits have a nice ride and handling, as well as a good drop, as far as I've seen, at least from various forums anyhow.

Sounds like a great street combo.

I agree with everything that has been said so far. The Koni yellows are about the best you can get for adjustable shocks, and the Pro-Kit springs handle well and also have a pretty nice ride.

What about the Yellow Konig with H&R (1.0) all around? How's the quality of H&R compare to the Eibach Pro-Kit?

Re: Strut/Spring Combo

I have H&R springs in my car with the Koni yellow shocks and they're still holding up great. I have no idea how many miles are on them since they were on the car when I got them. I would like a little but more of a drop though, so eventually I'll try another spring.

So I havent boughten any struts yet, and I was looking around, and i saw on RRE's webpage that they say that in their opinion Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustable shocks are a really good 2g strut and are more adjustable then koni's. idk if I should go with koni yellows or with these ones?

Tokico Illumina 5-ways w/ tokico springs, fantastic combo! Super cheap if you shop around.

Tokicos are nice, but the Konis will be better IMO. But you can have the whole package for under $500 which is nice, or under $350 for the non-adjustable stuff, which is what I went with and loved it.
