ok, wow
I installed a boost control valve a few days ago and finally used the car to go to work this morning and holy crap I had 20 pounds of boost. I fear that is to much for a little 14g so after work I turned it down a little and now I'm at 14 pounds of boost, I think thats a little safer

Re: ok, wow
I run 22psi errryday on my 16g on the ultimate, but know nothing about quests.

Re: ok, wow
20psi if fine for a 14"b". It just depends on you're supporting mods. What mods do you have done?
Edit: Didnt see you had a conquest. That's out of my knowledge range. haha |
Re: ok, wow
Don't be so swift to bash people. I'm surprised it didn't hit fuel cut if you went up near 20psi with that turbo. Unless you have a 1G mass air sensor, it's not good to go to 20, but with one, you can go that high. I'd make sure you have enough fuel with a wideband or dyno run.

Re: ok, wow
it is better now, everything is primarily stock under hood to the best of my knowledge. I usually don't go that high into boost anyway I usually stay around 7 to 8 when i accelerate. I don't like to beat on it

Re: ok, wow
You should definately be fine with 14 psi though. I'd leave it there if I were you. :) More fun. haha.
