Anyone else ever get the compressor tester hose stuck in their cyl head
I was trying to test the compression on my 2g, and the hose is stuck in there now! It just spins in place. I got frustrated with it and just left it in there. But I'm going to have to get it out eventually. Any one have any ideas?

Re: Anyone else ever get the compressor tester hose stuck in their cyl head
Is it the fitting or adapter like a quick connect spinning or the actual threads in the head where the plug threads into?

Re: Anyone else ever get the compressor tester hose stuck in their cyl head
A little less cow bell next time you thread the hose into the head, the threads do most of the sealing and the o-ring takes care of the rest. It sounds like the hose is turning but the threaded part is not. So pull really hard and turn or pull hard enough to pull the hose off the threaded part, then use a needle noise vice grip to pull the fitting out of the head.

Re: Anyone else ever get the compressor tester hose stuck in their cyl head
I've had that happen before many years ago, it was from using a cheap Summit brand comp tester. I do remember having to dig down in there and cutting the hose out of the way and using a socket or a long skinny wrench and reaching down in and removing it. It was the two pieces of the gauge itself that were supposed to not ever spin but had loosened up and would spin. Of course not before I put it in there and I didnt screw it in hard at all.

Re: Anyone else ever get the compressor tester hose stuck in their cyl head
Same thing happened to me, pulling and twisting didn't get it out, so I had to go buy some super long needle nose pliers to get it started.

I had this happen ones, so I grew my finger nails out for a few months then got it undone with just my nails.
