1995 Talon TSi AWD
1995 Talon TSi AWD 5-speed 95K miles CAR IS SOLD!
Car has 97-98 Talon bumpers and hatch installed with high wing Grey leather interior Engine/Drivetrain: 2.4l G4CS 6 bolt bottom end (21K miles on engine) .020" over Wisecos w/skirt coating Eagle rods Cleaned and micro polished crank Turned down balance shaft 2g head with Comp stage 2 cams ARP head studs Tranny had fresh basic rebuild done at 83K mile mark (new syncros, bearings, hub slider for 3-4) Does not grind any gear. 2600 ACT w/Street Disc Turbo/Exhaust: PTE 3561e SS O2 housing w/ TiAL 38mm wastegate atmo dump 3" Exhaust Ported 2g manifold Fuel/Intake: 1600cc inj TT Supra Pump Rewired Buschur AFPR rail mounted Ebay FMIC Blitz SS BOV JET 3" SS polished CAI with cone filter Electronics: DSMlink V2 w/Compaq Laptop to run DSMlink Autometer Phantom Boost Autometer Phantom AFR Taylor wires Factory keyless entry security system Suspension: Koni Sportline 5 way adjustable struts with Ground Control coil overs Lower front ball joint/control arm recall performed Things that need work on the car: There is some underbody rust on lower core support in front. Power door locks are sketchy, work sometimes in the summer in the cold they don't fully unlock or seem to get stuck. Probably need to be taken apart and cleaned, replaced. They stopped working over the last few years while it was stored. Moon roof shade came apart, may be an easy fix but could also need to be replaced no idea. FMIC piping is ugly, if I was keeping this car it would be the first thing I would upgrade. Works great, just looks ugly. Will update with photos and more stuff as I remember other parts (lots of interior and other random spare 2g parts)lol Car is currently setup to run on a 50/50 92/E85 mix at 27psi. A long long time ago on 100 octane and stock cams and 23psi it made 400/400 at Elite on 680cc injectors, we had to stop turning up the boost because over running injectors/pump. No idea what it would make in it's current tune, I am guessing ~430hp at DB Performance. CAR IS SOLD! |

Re: 1995 Talon TSi AWD
Consider this a free bump ;) but consider trading for a 2002 Grand Prix SE?
|
Re: 1995 Talon TSi AWD
Well, one more bump. I guess I am not meant to sell this car, I'd hate to part it out too much work.

The Evo has been awesome taking away driving time from the Talon and I could use the money for some of my other hobbies. I really like the Talon though, I have been "trying to sell it for over a year now but more or less recently dropped my asking price. |
Re: 1995 Talon TSi AWD
These blocks don't come with Oil Squirters correct? So, I would assume you didn't put them in this one right?

Pistons have swaintech coatings but I don't remember what was done in ways of coatings, I know the sides/skirts are coated. |
Re: 1995 Talon TSi AWD
If you still have it in the spring or a few months I may be interested. The car looks like a good time. Have you driven it in the winter?

Re: 1995 Talon TSi AWD
It's just a set of rims away from being a really sweet DD. If I didn't have three cars already and a possible fourth on the way, I'd probably be on this as well.

Re: 1995 Talon TSi AWD
You are not interested in any trades plus cash are you?
