bad gear selcting cable?

so here is a pic of my gear selecting cable. pretty sure i cant repair it. but just thought i would post this to see if anyone knew a way so i wouldnt have to replace it. let me know thanks.

Yeah, when they come apart like that they aren't really fixable, and especially now since the cable is frayed.
