If you want the cam gears adjusted for best power we can do that on the dyno. Otherwise if you just want them degreed for the sake of having it done, we could do it, but we would need to get a solid lifter a small degree wheel to fit a DSM.

You don't have a FMIC or aftermarket downpipe yet?

I just ordered my 3" downpipe today. I know ... I am modifying the car in
somewhat weird order :)

The engine as on now has 507 miles on it. The idle is very bad. I have checked
for boost leaks, timing & base idle. My vacuum @ idle is about 10in/hg. It used
to be around 20 before. I cannot get the car to idle right for the life of me.

The only thing left are the cams not being degreed. I have heard from some
people that Fidanza Camgears are off by a few degrees. Either way I just need
them zero-ed. I do not have a degree wheel but I do have 2 solid lifters from
CRCO which I can bring.

Right now I am not really interested in power. I just want things nuts on with the
car.

if you arent interested in power, or even more so if you are, the best thing you can probably do is stick with stock cam gears.

aftermarket ones may look pretty, but they sure dont do much good.

10in/hg of vacuum is normal for those cams. Your idle is going to be poor with aftermarket cams and the vacuum will always be very low if your try to idle at the stock 750RPMs. You can try turning the idle RPM up to around 1000 if you want to try to hide some of the lumpy idle.

We can degree it, but we would probably need the car for a whole day and I can't say that it will change your idle much. It won't idle like stock with those cams.

Is that the same with my hks 264's? I mean having lower vaccum? I only get ~12-14 for vaccum now and I used to get 18.

Yep, and the amount of vacuum you pull will also vary quite a bit with what RPM the car is actually idling at.
