Uni Cruising on July 3rd and 4th
 

This is the one weekend (July 3 and 4) of the year that I have to make it to University Ave. There are always hundreds of additional people that go out that weekend. More people = more cars! I'm Hmong and I know that there is the annual Hmong Soccer Tournament at Como Field that weekend. Thousands of out of towners from all over the US come to the tournament during the day and go see the cars at night on Uni. I just wanted to invite all of you and let you know that I'll keep my eye out for other DSMers. If you can't hang out all night, feel free to cruise by. I know that many of my friends look forward to these 2 nights all year. It's the only 2 nights that a handful of my friends take their cars out! The other 363 days of their year, their cars enjoy the inside view of their garages.

I am not hmong, but if I go, I won't be in a dsm and will be driving a car that is not a garage queen like the cars in the first post. What is so special about your friends cars that they don't drive them?

Oh, and FYI if you don't have to be around the Como Zoo/Lake area...avoid it. Traffic is going to be a PITA this whole weekend because of the soccer tournament.
