Like title says, I just got my dsm link and took my ecu out to find out its not an eprom.

are you going to send it in to have it chipped or do it yourself?

Ive got one that needs a new driver chip, and the folks at DSMLink said it wont cost more than $30 to fix. So if your going to send in the ECU to them anyways then ill sell ya my 2g eprom for $100.

I was going to chip it myself. So yours needs to be sent in to get the driver chip fixed? I am checking around at junk yards to see if they have any

yeah, unless you know how to fix it yourself. I can show you what needs to be replaced. I figured if you were going to send it in anyways, then might as well get mine and have it repaired while your at it.

Hmmm ya, I don't really know how to replace it. But yeah so far I've called 4 junk yards and nobody has one, and to buy one from ECM link its like $250, but I was hoping someone would have one that was working. Ill have to let ya know what I decide cuz i might be giving you a call on it
