Need to get new tires.
 

I will be in the market for some new tires this year for my car. I am looking for 225/45/17 good performance tires. I have no idea what's out there that's good. Currently I have dry cracked Falken GRB's.

My cousin told me about some Nittos that were pretty good.

Falken Azenis RT615 are good for the money ($120ish), but expect to get 20k miles max out of them. How much are you looking to spend per tire?

I have the Sumitomo HTR-ZII right now and they didn't hold up so well at the autocross. Lots of squealing/sliding, but they are a budget performance tire. I had probably one of the cheapest street tires at the event. Even the neons were running rt615's.

I run the older BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW's on the WRX, and used to run them on the Talon and they are great tires. Awesome wet and dry traction, just don't try them in snow. They are a bit on the spendy side though.

Edit: they are now called the KDW 2.

They are a little noisy too, just thought I would throw that out there.

Yeah we need a little more info. What are you wanting, a good all season, a summer only? I'm happy with my HTR-Z 3's. They are sticking pretty well. But probably worthless in snow.
