is it worth having my car tuned

alright I just want some opinions. so my car is out of comission right now anyway but after I get her back on the road I'm curious if I should have it tuned here is why. so my car has always burned a little oil since I bought it and now it's getting bad. I have a newer turbo and a freshly rebuilt head on it so I'm assuming it's the block and the block needs to be rebuilt.

so what I'm wondering if it is worth having it tuned after i get it running so I can drive it? or should I let her sit until I can rebuild the block and then have it tuned? thanks for any opinions

I would just let it sit while you replace the rings, or whatever else you need to do to get it running right. Then have Shane tune it.

What he said. You can go have it tuned when it's smoking, but odds are it'll just make it harder to tune, and you'll still have that problem. Find out what's leaking or causing it to smoke, then fix it. Then have it tuned.

Yup. Get your car running as good as possible before driving/tuning it.
