Re: Just got back with the new holset.

I'm confused. This is curt brown's dyno sheet for the HTA 35R, right? What does this have to do with a holset? At first I thought this was your car's dyno graph with your holset, haha.

Re: Just got back with the new holset.

YES GUYS THIS IS A JOKE.

HOLD ON HERE IS THE REAL INFO:

Hit the dyno yesterday with alot of differant parts since last year, 3582 swapped for 3586 in an .82 Garret GT housing along with a Shearer header, FP4r to FP 5r's, JMF race to JMF drag, FIC 1150's to FIC blue Max 1350's(work really good, 84% DC at most now), and of course ECMlink V3.

Started off with a host of ignition issues, running a really old COP with Intrepid coils and a Dynatek box, took the gap from .032(ran all last year like that) down under .020 and it still misfired, swapped a 2g coil Nate had laying around with some ****** Advance Auto wires and got it to pull clean, 25psi on 93 octane pump gas got us 650whp and 423 tq, no knock and more could be had but im not interested too much on pump. Drained the pump gas in favor of VP Q16 and cranked the boost to 34 or so, made 717, Nate put more timing to it and leaned it out a bit(11.4) and we hit 781whp and 573 tq, no knock very conservitive, going for 42 psi and more timing killed the clutch on the next run, 6500rpm and the rpms jump way up and wheel speed stayed the same now we know an ACT 2900 and organic disc is good for 781whp!

THIS IS CURT MUTHA FUCKIN BROWN SON! (not me, no way)

Does he mean FP's HTA3582 to HTA3586?

Pretty nice numbers.

Re: Just got back with the new holset.

It's a Dynojet, there isn't a huge difference.

Its a well put together car not just money or parts thrown at it.

Re: Just got back with the new holset.

You can make a fast car with either one of those things and some luck. ;) I prefer to do neither. Picking and choosing parts for the best combo is more fun than buying a crapload of parts because someone else has the same setup and it made power.

^i don't understand. All i know it he has just shown that there is no need to go bigger than a 35 for 600whp DJ powa.
