I think it looks fine as it is. Is your car lowered at all?

Leave them the way they are, and get the car painted instead.

My girlfriend thinks the same thing, to keep them the way they are and work on the paint job.

Yes get a paint job!! I know I shouldn't have any say because I need mine painted but I think the rims look good the way they are for the moment.

Its hard to find 2gb gsx rims in good shape...

I say leave them the way they are and spend the money on other fun things.

well my car is now smoking pretty bad. lots of blue smoke out the tail pipe. I think it's time to rebuild my block so that's where my money is going to be going. I just rebuilt my cylinder head and my turbo is newer so I don't think it's the turbo.

There you go. Spend the dough on the stuff that makes it go and worry about wheels later.

If that wouldnt have happened I wold say work on the paint too. The wheels look pretty good as they are.

Re: to powder coat or not to powder coat?

If you powdercoat the wheels you are going to have to darken up some of the rest of the car to balance things out.

We don't need any more cars with black rims around... leave them silver.

Yea, I would def not spend money powder coating my rims when my car needs to be painted.

Re: to powder coat or not to powder coat?

honestly I'm not too worried about the paint job I was just curious on peoples opinion on black vs silver for the rims. but last night on my way home I got a tps sensor code and a maf sensor code and barely made it home coupled with my excessive oil consumption I know where my money is gona be tied up for a while
