I was part of a fishing exibition last night by maple grove
 

So I was coming home from work. There was a maple grove cop sitting at the 4 way stop 2 blocks from my place. But he was a block up on the side walk with his lights out. I stoped at the sign and the sec. I started to go his lights came on and hauled ass down the side walk thought the sign to get behind me. As I pulled into my drive way he turned his light's on. I could not bleve this stuid ass cop pulls me over in my fucking drive way when I had the car all ready off and was getting out. I was yelled at to stay in the car. Get asked the normal questions but before he could ask me why he pulled me over I asked him. I said I stoped and the sign and was not speeding so why did you pull me over in my drive way. He stood there for a min and look at my car and came up with tint. Now he is trying to tell me my windows are to dark and he saw it a block away at 11:16pm.

The dumb ass then checks the windows and said the rears were to dark and gives me a tint ticket for a 129.00. To top it all off the ticket he gave me is not even for my car but has my info right on it. So it will not be a problem to get out of it and will be calling maple grove to complain on him also.

Here is what the info says on the ticket for the car

Sure like how my car has a diffrent plate and is a suv

A very sim thing happened to me... i kind of went through a pink light... and what i mean by that is i dropped it into 3rd and hauled bawls through a yellow turning red and got pulled over a 1/4 mile down the road. (the stop light out side of the elk river court house on hwy 10) so i was young and dumb but was smart enough to realize he put my 07 wrx down as a 95 gmc sierra and i got out of the ticket completely :)

How does a cop fuck up the make/model that bad? Was there a Yukon in your driveway or somewhere else? I don't get it.

He was writing down the info for another person, but stopped for some reason, and reused the same ticket for you. That cop should be put on unpaid leave, I think.

It may be on purpose, He didnt really have a valid reason for pulling you over or even giving you a ticket, so he just wanted to be a pain in your ass instead of looking like a complete ass.

I'm still a little lost on the whole Yukon thing. Was this trainee day or something? Not only is he an ass, but also a complete idiot. Very sad.

it is not that the car was wrong but also the plate is wrong. he also put down the address to maple grove place when my lic is still the anoka address on it.

I really dont like MG cops. this one time.. when i was 20 and i was trying to be cool, and i was drivin this hot 16 year old around in my Sti i got pulled over for tint and she started crying and i didnt know what to do, so i told her to take her clothes off .... havent talked to her since

Haven't had much problem with MG cops, more with BP. They wasted hour and half because of tint... but then let me go.

Ive had pretty good luck with the Burnsville cops. They will even tell you where the bars are!

LOL wow.

I have had pretty good luck with the roseville p.d. I have gotten pulled over 3 times here with no tickets. And the nearby new brighton p.d. have gotten me twice, but have never issued a ticket. That's pretty stupid though, some cops are just butt bandits.

This afternoon there were two GV cops (in their brand new Charger Hemis) on 100 northbound sitting on the MN55 bridge radar-ing on-coming traffic from both sides/shoulders. I think that MnDot made the shoulders wider just at that point to enable easier setup of radar traps; there are state-ies there all the time. I went through at 75 and got off at Duluth........
