Any Job Leads - Engineering/Technical
Hi Everyone. I was part of a recent workforce reduction and now I'm looking for a new job. I'm looking for something in the mechanical design/engineering and new product development field around the twin cities.
How do I put this... I'm kind of a big deal when it comes to working with Pro/Engineer. :) This is the CAD software that I've been using for almost 11 years, although I will be taking a course on using SolidWorks (very similar to Pro/E) now that I have some free time. Just something to add to my resume. Anyway, here is my summary, taken directly from my resume: Accomplished Mechanical Designer with demonstrated skills in new product development, concept ideation and design, and cross-functional teamwork and communication with over 10 years of industry experience. Strong working knowledge of DFM/A, lean manufacturing principles and step-based design for product development. Effective in problem solving and creation of innovative solutions for design challenges. Known for being open minded, flexible, and a team player with a strong desire for continuous learning. If anyone knows or hears of anything, could you please send it my way. It would be much appreciated. :) Thanks, -Mark |

Keep your eyes open at www.colder.com, we recently did have a small layoff ourselves but they aren't afraid to add new talent to help grow the business. We use Pro/E here to design our parts. If I hear of them looking for an engineer I'll keep you in mind.

What exactly does a mechanical designer do?
Do you have a mechanical engineering degree or what? |
