A/T Transmission Quiestion
 

I bought a 1993 trans from an eagle talon tsi will it work in my 1991 eclipse gsx? Seems like the only thing different is the pulse generator plug. Mine is a 3 wire the 93 is a 2 wire.... Help is much appreciated thanks

I know with the manuals and I "think" it goes with auto's too is the spline difference. I am pretty sure they are different from 91-93.

The change actually happened in mid 91, so 91's can be either spline count. I would imagine the auto's are the same. The difference is the spline count for the T-case.

the spline count was 23 on both trannys! Just the pulse generator was different so i swaped it and was wondering if it will work? Or even if a 93 auto trans will work in a 91.

It will bolt right up and if the spline is the same and you switched out the pulse generator you should be good to go!

Yep spline count is the same! It will hook right up now hope it works! just thought it was sketchy swaping parts from my 91 onto a 93.
