For those who dont like front plates

I saw this on MNSC and i know a bunch of you hate to have front plates. This seams to be a awesome alernative and its cheap to, at 160 its just a little more then the cost of the ticket

tiny little mechanical and electrical bits don't mix well with a Minnesota Winter.

I'm almost considering it. I dont run my 2g in the winter anyway... I would like to see it on a 2g before I buy though.

totally not fair! I've been thinkin about doin this for so long! Although this is a little different than I was planning on making mine, I think I like it better. Can't be too hard to make your own I'd think. Just need a small enough motor.

Neato. Def looks like it'd break around here though! I saw a cool one on an nsx at cars&coffee last fall:

I don't think either of those would work on an evo though; there's just no where to mount it.

If something like this would be viable year round, I'd rock it.

I'm going in on monday to fight my first NFP ticket. Wish me luck!

How are you going to "fight" a NFP ticket?

put the plate on. making sure its fastened with bolts etc. then go in to talk to the nice officer and he/she will come out and look, usually waiving the ticket,
done this a few time now.
just sucks sitting in there for 3 hours every time, LOL

I think if you fabbed some sheet metal around and made a housing for the plate. closed it would be very durable

Not to threadjack, But this caught my eye while looking at the retractable license plate..

Definatly would be different having a car with this option...
