MN has one less mitsu dealer.

Just an FYI, found out... might be old news... Walser Mitsu Closed on Dec 23. I guess they only sold like 2 new cars the last month of business!

We now only have Brooklyn Park and Metro in the Twin cities. After Forest Lake Closed in the fall!

On a side note walser opened a Hyundai dealer, which has a Silver 2008 Evo X GSR with everything for 26,9k.

Re: MN has one less mitsu dealer.

yeah it does!.... the only reason I care is I have free oil changes through them so I wanted to find out what dealers their evo mechanics went to. If anyone is wondering couple (aaron the service manager and a couple mechanics) went to roseville gmc pontiac and lance went to bloomington toyota.

Thats sucks. I always heard good things about Walser Mitsu. They should have updated there website though: http://www.walsermitsubishi.com/ Unless the "Wow" experience is suppose to be about people going to the dealership and then realizing the place is closed. ;)

later,
Curt

And most of their special tools went to my garage. I love having someone on the inside :)

Well, this is just the beginning. The Saturn and Hummer brands will soon be gone. That was part of the bailout money agreement with GM. Dodge has been shopping around the Viper too and halted production, it sounds like that will be dead soon also.

I wonder why Saturn? You'd think fuel efficient cheap econo boxes would be the best sellers.

Re: MN has one less mitsu dealer.

Bob lutz admitted that the advertising budget for saturn was not what it should be.

Mainly because they are no different than the cheap econobox Chevys available. They used to be different, but not anymore. Having multiple companies selling the same product is a waste of money/resources.

Re: MN has one less mitsu dealer.

Huh. My Dad owned his saturn from new until around 150k when he sold it. Only problem he ever had was the sunroof motor died.

My step-mom bought hers brand new and still has it. It's sitting at around 225k miles, and the only problem it's ever had was the radiator started to leak around 200k.

I've never considered them to be unreliable.

I've had several Aura's for rentals, and was always pleased with them.
