1992 Laser RS AWD
5 Attachment(s)
I am posting this for my friend in Ames, IA, I copied a word doc with all this information. This is not my car and the thread is going to be locked after I post it for sale. Please contact Mike with the information provided at the end of the post. Please excuse the bad pictures, they didn't transfer out of the word doc very well, the only bad one is the front seats shot.

The sunroof seal seeps water during heavy rains/snows The driver power window track needs cleaned and lubricated on the side nearest to the front of the car The car takes 2-4 times cranking over ~1sec with the E85 to start when cold (it cranks fine, tuning issue?) The acceleration throttle enrichment is too little during warmup (only first 1-3 minutes, tuning issue?) The body is mediocre with some dents/dings and very little rust (looks like a 10-15 yr old car) Overall the car is in very good shape with nearly all mechanical systems restored and improved. It is a well put together car with attention to detail and reliability. All parts compliment one another to create a very fast street car, it logged 1.6-1.7 second 70-90mph times at 23psi on E85 (highest boost level run). The car can easily run deep into the 11’s as it sits; this is not some half-done junker, the car is turn key and ready to drive. I have receipts for many of the parts listed here (I bought them new!) and have had the car for about 2.5 years and put ~12k miles on it. I bought it non-running sitting in a friend’s garage, and nursed it back to health over the last 1.5 years, then drove it for the last year. I am selling it because I’m starting a new job and don’t have a use for this car anymore. I am selling it cheap to move it quickly as a running car, NOT PARTED OUT! I have the title in hand and want my ride to find a good home. If you are serious about the car contact me via e-mail (mikeclark319 at gmail dot com), or phone (515-210-2497) |
