$500 stimulus for individuals and $1000 for couples. This year is going to be good for my taxes having a kid, and getting a stimulus should be nice. I like the business tax break of $3000 for companies per employee hired in the next 2 years. |

I hope I get a decent refund this year, Ive been on unemployment since november so I dont know how that affects my refund.

This will be my first year that I can claim mortgage interest. I don't know what to expect.

Usually for me (since I've only owned for 3 years), about 2 months worth of my payments actually go towards the principle, and the other 10 months are all interest. I'm sure it's different for everyone, but maybe gives you an idea. All that interest is a huge write off!!!
I also write off my property taxes which is another perk of owning also. Another couple grand usually. |
