No oil squirters?

I decided a while back to rebuild the motor in the laser. Freshen it up add 2G pistons and make it all shiney and new. Well today I went and picked up the block form Gosh and brought it home. Put it on the stand and flipped it only to see no bores for the oil squirters. I don't know why I didn't catch this on disassembley. As far as I know the only block with no oil squirters is the non-turbo version. Pics

Is the NA block the same as the turbo block? I don't want to run this if I'm going to have huge heat issuse.

No, I just want to see if they have part numbers for the block they used.

Yeah, they should have done it right the first time though.

I think with e-85 and meth injection the temps won't be that high.

Re: No oil squirters?

Why are you going to run meth with e-85?

Sweet dejon side mount. Sleeper oil squirters or not.

Re: No oil squirters?

Why do they machine them into things like 2.4 blocks if their really not needed. I talked to Gosh and he says he does it all the time for strokers.

Re: No oil squirters?

I don't know why. But I will say that I've run a stock n/t block with stock 7.8 turbo pistons for a LONG time with no issues. Before water injection, with the 16g sh!tting itself being pushed. Then with a 60-1 with over 48lb/min recorded. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Of course, a winning lawsuit will net you some forged pistons which definately don't need the extra cooling :) .
