Even though that scooter is obviously modified beyond recognition, they race those things. The motors get blanced and blueprinted, spin some ungodly number of RPMs, get huge carbs on them (big for a 22cc engine) and who knows what else. They're the same motors that I used when racing 1/4 scale R/C cars, and when we used the "big" carb that was available to us they put out just about 2hp... Once modded for scooter racing they put out something like 5-10hp, and sell for a few thousand dollars. Crazy...

We need to get a couple of them for the Shootout and have some real fucking scooter races yo... :drool:
