Contact Mike at QPR about the fuel cell... He'll point you in the right direction and even install it for you.

there is a guy in Roberts wisconsin he owns an old army base, and he brings the cars about 30 ft under ground and paints in his shop he does incredible work if you dont need any body work he will also do body work, how much you looking to spend? if your serious about it he will do it

Mr Raced 03-18-2004 12:38 PM

I dont know about incredible work, air heads car is showing a some blemishes and dirt that got into the paint, but id say a decent job. :woowoo:

6pucker 03-18-2004 12:43 PM

how much does he charge? im willing to spend $800-$1200

you have to remember aaron was in way to big of a hurry to put his car back together and half the shit was still wet and he pulled the motor after he painted it. but the paint is smooth no orange peel i would personally say it is a good job. better then 80 percent of stock vehicles paint jobs. it will be under 1200 for sure, probably get away with it for 750 to 900 if you talk right and garuntee him your serious.

Mr Raced 03-18-2004 08:28 PM

Our buddies was 900 and he took the entire car aparts himself, did all the body work=dents, rust, any defects all himself so its all up to what you want. UH OH better get Maco :smoker: just kidding but hey its cheap right

Goat Blower 03-19-2004 12:53 AM

$900 for light prep work and shooting the paint isn't exactly a great deal. Although the paint itself can run up to $300. Have Maaco do it and then clean up their work.

ryan if i remeber right he originally told aaron like 700 and aaron paid him 800 i dont think it was 900.
this same guy told me he would paint our entire fiber glass boat 19ft. do all the work paint and taping and fixing the scratches in the firberglass. he said 1500 including paint which was a good deal because the paint my dad picked out would have been over 350 the huge glitter fleck. which is a hell of a deal no matter how you put it he was also going to help me for free do all new carpet in the boat. NO easy task.

2003eclipse 03-19-2004 10:07 AM

by the way ryan aaron hasn't buffed his car yet which usually helps a new paint job. MIDGET

Mr Raced 03-19-2004 10:49 AM

Okay oaky, well thats what i was told and if you love him so much why dont you have him paint your finger nails too woman :smoker:

Mr Raced 03-19-2004 10:58 AM

And we pulled his engine early this winter, some time around christmas or something. And if he wanted 700 and aaron gave him 800, i dont see why he would give him 100 extra for nothing, CHUBBY !!! Oh joe im just screwing with ya, you weiner  Lgihten up a little
